by Xavier Encinas

Born in Osaka in 1971, Keizo Motoda received an award while studying photography in school and in the same year, he started his editorial in which he takes snapshots of the people he meets on the streets for Osaka Shimbun. This lay the foundation for his future works.

He picks his subjects who is with character so the viewers are left with strong sense of feeling.

Yet, he is very humble and easy-going, so he often becomes friends with his subjects. He continuously shoots the same model over the time.
