Sixteen Volume 9
An entire issue dedicated to Hispanic Culture
Volume 9 is a celebration of Latinx iconography, underground glamour, and fierce femininity. It pulses with the energy of global pop figures—La Goony Chonga, La Favi, Isabella Lovestory, and Tomasa del Real—captured in rich, cinematic sequences by photographers like Sam Nixon, Jack Shelton, Conor Cunningham, and Chessa Subbiondo.
The issue moves between reggaeton ballrooms and Spanish flamenco studios, Mexican streets and digital dreamscapes; layering performance, sexuality, and ancestral identity. Elizaveta Porodina’s surreal tableaux, Jack Davison’s intimate flamenco portraits, and Ricky Alvarez’s poetic ode to Chicano youth round out this vibrant volume.
Also featuring rare archive work by Cristina García Rodero, Stefan Ruiz, Joseph Rodriguez, and Merrick Morton.
